• Payment: Payments must be received before printing begins.
• Print Errors (Our Fault): If a print fails due to an error on our end — such as a hardware malfunction, incorrect settings applied by us, or a mistake in our process — we will offer a refund or free reprint at our discretion.
• File Quality (Customer Responsibility): FilamentBros is not responsible for print failures, poor quality, or wasted material caused by unprintable geometry, non-manifold meshes, improperly scaled files, incorrect file formats, or other file issues submitted by the customer. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure files are print-ready and correctly scaled in millimeters before submitting.
• Improperly Scaled Files: If a submitted file appears to be incorrectly scaled (e.g., too small or too large), we will attempt to notify you before printing. However, we are not liable for prints completed based on the file dimensions as submitted if the customer has approved the quote.
• Order Minimum: All orders are subject to a minimum charge equivalent to 100g of filament at the applicable rate. This minimum applies regardless of actual print weight.
• Quote Approval: Once the customer approves the quote, the order is considered final. FilamentBros is not responsible for outcomes resulting from the customer's own file errors, scaling issues, or unprintable geometry after quote approval.
• Color & Material: All prints are produced in the color and material options selected by the customer on the order form. Slight color variation between batches may occur.
• Order Tracking & Pickup: Pickup location and instructions will be provided via the order tracker once your print is complete.
• University Affiliation: FilamentBros is an independent, student-run service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Texas A&M University.
• Contact: FilamentBros may contact you via phone or email regarding your order status, quote, or payment.
• Intellectual Property: By submitting a model, the customer confirms they hold the appropriate usage and reproduction rights for the submitted file. FilamentBros is not responsible for copyright or licensing violations resulting from files submitted by customers.
• Liability: FilamentBros is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from the use of printed parts, including but not limited to structural failure, improper use, or reliance on printed objects in safety-critical applications.
• Feedback & Testimonials: By submitting feedback, you grant FilamentBros permission to use your responses, in whole or in part, for promotional purposes including testimonials, unless you explicitly request otherwise.
• Cancellations: Orders may not be cancelled once printing has begun. Cancellations before printing begins are subject to review and may be honored at our discretion.
